The Image was produced using Google Earth - here is a copy of the Google KML file of the SAGAS locations. Download the file by right clicking on the Link and using 'save as' to save a copy to the Google Earth directory on your computer.

Green Symbols are the SAGAS Societies

Magenta are Cornwall & SW

Orange are Thames & Chiltern

Red are those societies who are not a member of any group

The map below shows the society locations overlaid on a map of light pollution - Black is best and white is worst - excluding the white coastal border.

Updated 8th January 2008 - Orpington AS added. Labels changed to remove SAGAS due to label clashes. Non-member Societies labels shrunk due to lower importance and labeling clashes.

Equality restored to SAGAS societies - all labels should now be the same colour and size !

Would society representatives please check the location of your societies symbol using Google Earth. I have tried to place it where your meetings / lectures are but in some cases that has proved difficult to locate - corrections in location to me please.
