Isle of Wight Star Party

SAGAS - The Southern Area Group of Astronomical Societies

SAGAS are supporting the Isle of Wight Star Party to be held from Thursday 6th to Monday 10th March 2008 on the Isle of Wight. The site is on the dark southern edge of the Isle of Wight and it is New Moon so observing conditions should be good if the clouds stay away.

Details of the event are still being worked out but there is now a dedicated web site at www.IOWStarParty.org .

The latest Poster for the Star Party is here in PDF format. Why not print a copy and put it up in your local astronomy club ? Hope to see you there.

Accommodation in chalets and for Tents & Caravans will be available
